For my Oral History Project I had the privilege to interview Mr. Buddy Blankenship. Listening to his story and everything he had to endure has made me truly appreciate everyone that has ever served and that are serving. 

Mr. Blankenship was drafted and served in the Vietnam War and served in 1968 and 1969.  He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division.

Their stories can bring you to tears and make you grateful that we have so many great men and women who risk their lives to keep our country safe and to keep freedom free. Thank you to all the service men and women. (Blythe Gabriel)
