Mr. Dennis Simmons Interviewed by Morrow Gabriel, 2016
Dennis Simmons went into the Navy to get training in electronics. This was due to him not wanting to go to college, so he signed up for the next best thing, the Navy.
Dennis went to Texas in the main military electronics depot, then was in the Philippines. He was never in combat, but he was in a combat zone to fix electronics.
The military experience was nothing different than a job to Dennis; he had a 7-4 work day and primarily lived on base
