Paul Ellis chose to be a part of the United States Air Force as a security policeman, and in Vietnam he was assigned to the 35th combat support group.
He was ranked as Staff Sergeant at the age of 20. Paul enlisted in the Air Force as he was number eight on the draft list for Umatilla County.
Ten months after Paul returned home from Vietnam, he and his wife had their first baby. Paul then resigned from the army after having some stress/medical problems and devoted his life to farming.
